“After a two-year hiatus, I can’t wait to be out there and see all of the excited and smiling faces waiting for Saint Nick to make his appearance at our annual Markham Santa Claus Parade,” said Mayor Frank Scarpitti. “Every year, but especially this year, this parade will bring our community together as we all celebrate this special time of year.”
Joe Bowen, Canadian sportscaster affectionately known as “The Voice of the Toronto Maple Leafs,” will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal. The theme of this year's parade is “Imagine…”
Road closures in the area will begin at 8 AM. Limited parking is available in the area surrounding the parade route, however parking is not permitted on Main Street Markham. Attendees are encouraged to carpool or take transit.
